SpamTitan was formed in 2006, partnering at the same time with Kasperky Lab to create a built-in antivirus engine. Since 90% of emails are spam, all the services focus on protecting business via email. 

This makes their antivirus packages both niche-specific as well as dedicated and powerful. It also means the narrow focus isn’t ideal for everybody, particularly individuals who only need antivirus for home use.

How to Set It Up and Uninstall

The installation method depends on which package you choose. SpamTitan Gateway requires a technician to visit your premises to install the boutique software, otherwise:

1. Enter your personal details, then select either SpamTitan Cloud or Private Cloud.
2. You’ll then receive log-in instructions in your provided email inbox.
3. Follow these instructions to access the online email antivirus.

As neither the Cloud nor Private Cloud option involves installing anything on your own computer, there’s nothing to uninstall. If you sign up for the Gateway package, however, you’ll need a certified technician to come and uninstall the software.
